Some tips if you are having problems with RAID

If the RAID array works and is detected, but it is impossible to read the data, then the standard methods of the operating system are unlikely to help you. This applies to both checking disks for errors (Check Disk), and rebuild. Attempts to reinitialize or rebuild the RAID will not help read data from disks.

It is very important to detect where the failure occurred, to localize the problem as accurately as possible. Starting any manipulations, you need to be sure that they will help, otherwise you risk only aggravating the situation.
You must also be sure that the chosen method of solving the problem is suitable specifically for your case, because the symptoms may be the same, but the root causes are fundamentally different.

It is quite clear that interruptions in RAID access will have an extremely painful effect on both the company's performance and the system administrator personally. Therefore, the employee responsible for the server park will try with all his might - just to ensure that the disk is restored as soon as possible. But the fact of the matter is that the information recorded on disks is very important for your company, so its loss is a much more serious problem than the absence of a database session. Chaotic actions in a time pressure situation very rarely leads to positive results.
